Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hue – Uncle Ho’s Memorial House – Ru Cha Mangrove Forest

Your private countryside adventure begins at 8:00 AM when your female-led tour team and Jeep driver pick you up from your hotel in Hue city center. Leave the city behind and begin your journey toward the countryside and Tam Giang Lagoon.

At approximately 8:30 AM, stop at Uncle Ho’s Memorial House, located around 8 km from Hue city center in the direction of Thuan An Beach. The memorial house preserves memories of Ho Chi Minh’s childhood and youth during the period when he lived here with his father.

After exploring the memorial site, continue toward Ru Cha Mangrove Forest. This unique mangrove area is part of the Tam Giang–Cau Hai lagoon system and offers a peaceful natural environment away from the busy city.

Day 1: Ru Cha Mangrove Forest – Chuon Lagoon – Fishing Experience

At approximately 9:00 AM, arrive at Ru Cha Mangrove Forest and enjoy time walking through the natural surroundings. Take photographs and appreciate the distinctive landscape created by mangrove trees and waterways.

Continue by Jeep toward Chuon Lagoon, one of the areas within the Tam Giang Lagoon system. The scenery changes from mangrove forest to open lagoon waters, fishing areas and rural communities.

At approximately 10:00 AM, begin your Chuon Lagoon experience. Meet people involved in lagoon life and enjoy a hands-on fishing experience, learning more about traditional fishing activities in this unique aquatic environment.

Day 1: Kayaking – Seafood Lunch – Thuan An Beach

Continue your lagoon adventure with a kayaking experience. Paddle across the calm waters and enjoy the peaceful scenery surrounding Chuon Lagoon.

At approximately 11:00 AM, enjoy a seafood lunch featuring fresh seafood and the famous Dam Chuon specialty “Fish Pancake.” Take your time to enjoy the meal and the beautiful lagoon setting.

After lunch, return to the pier and board the Jeep for the final part of the journey to Thuan An Beach. Relax beside the blue waters, enjoy the sea breeze and take some time for swimming, walking or simply unwinding before returning to Hue city at approximately 1:00 PM.

Tam Giang Lagoon forms part of the Tam Giang–Cau Hai lagoon system, a vast brackish-water environment stretching along the coast of Thua Thien Hue.

Morning Tour

This tour is designed as a morning-to-early-afternoon experience.

Pickup begins at approximately 8:00 AM, with the itinerary continuing through Uncle Ho’s Memorial House, Ru Cha Mangrove Forest and Chuon Lagoon before lunch.

After lunch and the Thuan An Beach visit, return to Hue and arrive at approximately 1:00 PM.

What to Wear

Wear comfortable, lightweight clothing suitable for outdoor activities.

Comfortable shoes or sandals are recommended for walking through the mangrove forest and around the lagoon.

If you plan to swim at Thuan An Beach, bring swimwear and a change of clothes. Sunscreen, sunglasses and a hat are also recommended.
