Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Ha Giang – Pac Sum Pass – Heaven Gate – Lung Tam – Yen Minh – Hmong King Palace – Dong Van

Your Ha Giang adventure begins in Hanoi with a comfortable private transfer toward Ha Giang. Upon arrival, meet your professional female-led tour team and continue into the mountains by open-air Jeep. The first section of the journey takes you along winding mountain roads toward Pac Sum Pass, where the scenery gradually changes from peaceful countryside to spectacular limestone mountains and deep valleys. Stop at a scenic viewpoint to enjoy the fresh mountain air, take photographs, and admire the panoramic landscape.

Continue toward Heaven Gate, one of the most impressive viewpoints on the Ha Giang Loop. From here, you can look across huge valleys, steep mountain slopes and dramatic limestone formations stretching into the distance. After enjoying the views, descend into the valley and continue toward Lung Tam Village. This quieter mountain community offers an opportunity to see traditional village life and experience the distinctive culture of the people living in the region. Enjoy lunch with beautiful mountain scenery before continuing toward Yen Minh and the Dong Van Karst Plateau.

In the afternoon, continue through the spectacular landscapes of the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, passing terraced fields, limestone mountains and traditional mountain villages. Visit the historic Hmong King Palace, also known as the Vuong family residence, an important cultural and architectural site in Ha Giang. Continue to Dong Van Town and check into your private accommodation. After dinner, enjoy free time to relax, explore Dong Van’s charming streets, or simply enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the mountain town before spending the night.

Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Yen Minh – Quang Ba – Ha Giang – Hanoi

After breakfast, continue your journey along the famous Happiness Road toward Ma Pi Leng Pass. This is one of the most spectacular sections of the Ha Giang Loop, with dramatic limestone cliffs rising above deep valleys. As the Jeep climbs higher into the mountains, stop at carefully selected viewpoints to enjoy breathtaking scenery and photograph the winding road, towering mountains and Nho Que River far below. Traveling in an open-air Jeep allows you to enjoy wide panoramic views throughout this unforgettable section of the journey.

Continue toward Meo Vac before beginning the return journey through another beautiful section of the Ha Giang mountains.
